A resident of Watertown, WI, 35 years. Married forty-eight years to wife Sandra. Two sons, oldest a graduate of Maranatha Baptist Bible College and Ball State University, married, one son, on staff at Maranatha Baptist Bible College in Watertown, WI. Youngest son a graduate of Bob Jones University and Marian College, married, two sons, and is employed at CL&D Graphics in Oconomowoc.

January 1980 - Appointed as Legislative Representative for the Wisconsin Association of Christian Schools (WACS) and currently still serving in that position.
August 1980 - Joined the staff of Calvary Baptist Church and School in Watertown as Administrative Assistant and became Administrator of Calvary Baptist Christian School in August, 1983.
Active in monitoring legislation at the state and national level dealing with Christian Schools, private education, religious freedom, moral and traditional family value issues. Active in authoring and the passage of Wisconsin Act 512 which was signed into law in May 1984. This legislation defined a private school and legalized home-based private educational programs.
Resigned as Administrator of Calvary Baptist Christian School in Watertown, July 1, 1986, to assume the duties of Executive Director of the Wisconsin Association of Christian Schools (WACS), serving in that capacity until August 1, 1989. Main responsibilities were to monitor educational issues and serve as a liaison between private schools and the Department of Public Instruction as well as the legislature and keep interested parties informed of issues impacting them. Presently and since January 1980 serving as Legislative Representative for WACS. Also go to Washington D.C. four times a year as part of the Minute Man program of the American Association of Christian Schools (AACS) to lobby on behalf of WACS which is a state affiliate of the AACS.
In April 1986 founded The Christian Research Institute of Wisconsin (CRI), the name of which was changed to The Family Research Institute of Wisconsin (FRI) 1/1/94. FRI's mission was to inform, educate and involve the general public and policymakers in the development of public policy that strengthens the stability of marriage and family. FRI was a 501-c-3 (h) tax exempt, educational, informational research institute looking at public policy from a Judeo-Christian, pro-family perspective. Resigned from FRI in May 2000 to found and head up WI Capitol Watch.
WI Capitol Watch is a non-profit organization analyzing political and social issues and promoting public policy that protects the traditional family. WI Capitol Watch is a 501-c-4 organization, which enables a stronger stand for pro-family traditional values and public policy initiatives. I am presently serving as President and Director of WI Capitol Watch.

April 2000 - Elected to a 2 year term as Jefferson County Board Supervisor
May 2000 - Honored by Maranatha Baptist Bible College as Alumni of the year in Christian Ministry
August 2000 - Elected to and served on the Board of Directors of Wisconsin Coalition Against Gambling Expansion (WCAGE)
April 2002 - Re-elected to a second 2 year term as Jefferson County Board Supervisor
September 2002 - Ran for State Assembly in 38th District receiving 41% of the vote
April 2004 - Re-elected to a third 2 year term as Jefferson County Board Supervisor
April 2006 - Re-elected to a fourth 2 year term as Jefferson County Board Supervisor
November 2007 - Resigned from the Jefferson County Board because I moved out of the district
